I first met David in the 1980’s while regularly ringing in Suffolk. He was dedicated, bold and enthusiastic, dare I say adventurous even, in his ringing. We did ring a peal or two together and some quarters of which I was grateful for the opportunities. I have not seen David for a long time but have caught up with his exploits and those of his family occasionally through the sight of a guild report. I have now only heard of his passing, David will be missed greatly. Thoughts are with Katherine and the boys. Nick Wade
